Mostly a break week
I don't have much to say this week as I've been feeling too unwell to write. I'm testing out this feature that lets me write a post on my phone. I'm hoping it works well and more importantly, that I'll be better again soon.
I will say though, that while numerous people have told me they have to “live their lives”, and by this they mean take no pandemic precautions for their mental health, the virus itself can cause so many mental health problems that are, in my opinion, way harder to live with/fix than trauma. I really would recommend dealing with your pandemic trauma so you can protect yourself from a virus that damages your brain and inflames you're body. Consider me and other long haulers your canaries in the coal mine.
And remember, vaccines reduce your chances of severe acute illness and immediate death, but they don't prevent infection and they don't prevent long term consequences. That means that even if you are vaccinated, you should care about the air quality you breathe in and do what you can to clean it and/or ventilate it.
I hope I'll be less inflamed and back next week. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving.
